A Simpler Energy Experience

The Why

UGI EnergyLink provides natural gas and electric service to more than 42,000 customers across the Mid-Atlantic. The new website needed to support a simple, intuitive enrollment experience while clearly communicating offerings for both residential and commercial customers.

The goal was to make an often complex topic feel approachable, informative, and people-centered.


The Challenge

The site needed to present UGI EnergyLink as one cohesive brand while clearly differentiating between home and commercial audiences. It also needed to streamline information, improve usability, and bring clarity to a category that can easily feel overwhelming or impersonal.


The Approach

I partnered closely with developers to design a custom, responsive website focused on user experience and clarity. The design emphasized strong hierarchy, modular content, clear calls to action, and custom iconography to guide users through enrollment with ease.

The visual system balanced functionality with warmth, helping humanize energy services while maintaining trust and credibility.


The Outcome

Launched in 2017, the website continues to perform effectively years later with a structure and design that has stood the test of time. The result is a clear, user-friendly experience that supports enrollment, renewal, and long-term engagement.
